Passion and Intimacy in the Word feat. Brian Simmons

February 2, 2022

As believers, we understand the nature of God as He has revealed Himself to us primarily through His Word. The Holy Spirit illuminates truth as we meditate and read the Bible. “We touch the heart of God when we encounter His word.” shares Brian Simmons, lead translator of The Passion Translation.

God desires for us to live in unbroken communion with Him. It is our relationship with God and spending time in His peaceful presence that makes us whole. What would happen if we understood His heart and were convicted by the truth as we search the scriptures? We could become living epistles known and read by all men.

Tune in to this conversation with Brian Simmons and Leif Hetland if you have a hunger for truth and want to pursue greater depths in your walk with the Lord.
