We have here a beautiful story of the Samaritan woman who had an encounter with Love. We see her story as a beautiful picture of the true state of humanity looking for true identity and true love. In this conversation that she had with Jesus, He gave her the open door–an invitation to be the worshiper that the Father is seeking, and drink from the Living Water that He offers.

And what happened to her was that transformation from the woman who was tied up with her broken identity of someone looking for love in all the wrong places, to a woman who became a daughter of the Father.

And as she was set free from fear, shame, and guilt, she went straight back to the city of Samaria and talked to the men. A beautiful story of harvest coming out of and embracing Love and discovering identity.
